For most small business owners, talking about yourself is hard! You can speak all day about why your product and services stand out, but selling yourself can be mind-boggling difficult.
Well, I’m no different than most business owners. I love what I can do for clients, but sometimes talking about myself or actively self-promoting feels uncomfortable. I can pitch clients, but to pitch Hot Dog Marketing to the press isn’t natural.
Despite the uncomfortableness, we stepped out and got a great little article in the Statesman and Round Rock Leader. Facebook status: Feeling Proud!

I’m a mom, a small business owner, and I’m a marketing professional with over a decade helping businesses with their branding and online presence. When I’m not spending time with my family or on my business, I love cooking (and eating) and snuggling with my dogs while I binge on TV shows. My favorite authors are Malcolm Gladwell and Steve Martin. My favorite movies are L.A. Story, Little Mermaid, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Trainspotting.
