Wilco EDP

case study

Wilco EDP

Background

Wilco EDP is an economic development partnership between the cities located in Williamson County. The partnership wants to attract companies to Williamson County that would improve the quality of life for the region. Wilco EDP had been using the same branding and logo provided by the county.

The partnership knew to achieve the growth they wanted, they needed an updated logo, brand image, website, and compelling message. They needed something that would differentiate the partnership from the Williamson County brand, and appeal to their target market.

Crafting a New Brand

Hot Dog Marketing created a brand image and logo that positions Wilco EDP as modern and progressive. We focused on a bold color scheme that would depart from the traditional color schemes of government organizations. To convey a message of trust, a checkmark was built into the logo. The color-blocked asymmetrical design brings playfulness and unconvention into the brand image.

Making an Impression

We also created print materials for Wilco EDP to use at tradeshows that would immediately make an impression and allow them to stand out among their competition.

Careful Strategy

“Wilco EDP is specific about what companies they want to attract.” This project was done with careful strategy behind it to help Wilco EDP achieve their unique goals.

Ahead of the Competition

Wilco EDP now has a brand they feel matches the creativity and style of their organization and target market. With their new brand, website, and print materials, they are able to emerge ahead of the competition and accomplish their ambitions.
