Why Do We Celebrate Our Clients?

International Client’s Day has me thinking… As I approach my one year mark as Client Services Manager, I am filled with gratitude to think of how lucky I am to have clients that are fun and exciting to work with. I truly enjoy every one of our clients because they all bring something new and different to the table. Read on to see my top four reasons why clients should be celebrated every day.

We learn stuff.

Working with businesses of all shapes and backgrounds helps keep our minds fresh and active. We may not know a lot about one industry, but we know a little about a lot of industries. With each new client or project, we get to learn new facets that we may have never considered before, expanding our intellectual toolbox.

So smart and creative!

Our clients are small business owners – the world’s greatest minds. We love seeing the big ideas they dream up, being able to help them come to fruition is just an added bonus. They provide us with endless inspiration to do better and be better, which leads me to my next point…

They make us better at our jobs.

Yes, that’s right. Our clients help us help them. Nothing opens our eyes like getting valuable feedback from our clients. It not only allows us to learn more about that client personally, it helps us get a broader understanding of where we could improve our strategies and processes. Every day is a chance to improve and our clients make sure we aren’t missing any opportunities.

We laugh. A lot.

Recently, there was a conversation between us and a client who was worried that their bland materials were the branding equivalent of Nickelback. After some excessive humorous commentary, we came up with a piece that was so awesome, they no longer had to worry about the mundane comparison. Our clients keep it real, and we love them for that.

For us, clients are more than just business partners. They become our role models, our friends, and we cannot express our gratitude enough. Thank you!

“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” – William Arthur Ward
